So, i got a few complaints that i dont blog enough, well.. fair said, so here comes a status update

Work:
I'v changed job from Startforce (www.startforce.com) to KliKKi (www.klikki.com) wich i must say i like quite alot, the new job is a bigger company with some extremely good people.

KliKKi do SEO/SEM services for companys in Scandinavia, and are some of the best of what they do.
RIght now we have a office in PiteƄ, Stockholm and Helsinki in Finland.

Private:
Well, as many of you proberly have read on Malins blog (www.monstermalla.se) we got a cute daugther and she is allmost growing by the minut - she is now close to 7 months old and cute like notthing else.

She is cute like notthing but a real little bandit.. looks like her a dad and but a devil like her mom... :D

Now to the nerdy stuff....
In our little home we have a wireless network that have been slow as hell, so i decided todo something about, starting with getting a N-Draft router, for those who dont know the diffrence on wireless routers, then i can quick tell that the typical standard today in "G" wich offers 54mbit wireless, while N offers 380mbit.. aka.. ALOT faster and better coverage.

The router i when with is a Apple Time Capsule (http://www.apple.com/timecapsule/) because it have a build-in harddisk, meaning all computers on the network can share files using the harddisk in the TC.

Doing this simple little change made our network about 20% faster, also giving us faster internet access with less access time and better coverage on the top floor.

To get the full out of our new wireless i bought some N-Draft PCI-e network cards for our laptops, and that made the biggest change, wireless network is now fast enough to realy use - whereas normal G wireless is slow and barely usable for surfing and mail.

.. .. ..

Its saturday today and we just came back from town, i desided earlier this morning to upgrade our Mac Mini that we use as a media center upstairs.

The changes are:

* Going from 1,5gb memory to 3gb
* Going from 200gb harddisk to 320gb
* Going from G Wireless to N Wireless

These minor changes should improve performance by 100% and realy make it fly.

Well.. have a nice weekend our there, and i hope this inspired you to do some weekend-upgrades also.
