.. The dilemma of a nerd ..

For those of you who is 200% stupid infront a computer, this is your last chance.. LEAVE ;-)

... first some background knowledge ...
I have two computers wich realy is "mine" (yes.. yes... i have many computers.. but they are not realy mine.. atleast not all of them).. anyway.. i have these two babys.

No #1 - Le'power-machine aka. My Apple Macbook Air
Its thin and its awesome (and expensive as hell).. this one is primary used for Work...

And then i have my very own and extremely cute and sexy "Evo" (some of you have properly heard malin curse about someone called "Evo" taking to much of my time.. well.. thats "her".

Both laptops are very small and VERY nice..

Anway, here comes the dillema - for every nerd, its not just about having the right laptop, its also about Running the correct Operating System.. (a OS as its called is the foundation in a computer.. like you properly run windows.. and if you.. well.. then you suck.. or is a nerd)

Anyway, my Airbook Runs OSX.. and here comes the first dilemma.. i'm a newbie to OSX.. and while its realy nice.. its also realy hard to use when you are used to Windows.. meaning, the machine that i AM supose to use for work... is not realy being used for work.. and that pisses me off.. but what can a nerd do :-S... OSX is sooooooo nice..

Ok, my other problem of the day comes in the form of OS choice for my evo.
On my Evo i Run something called "Longhorn 4074" - while microsoft was devleoping Vista, they made longhorn.. it was kinda like a "this is realy how we would like windows to be".. meaning it have a hell lot of stuff that never made it into Vista - anyway, the problem is that microsoft have continued to devleop on Windows Vista and the latest beta is now called "windows 7" (microsoft and names is something .. that well.. *bvadr* - comming from the guy who own a part of a company that is called "startforce and with a version number called 0.7.0.55 :S .. ) .. anyway.. my dilema is that i one one hand love running this "Longhorn" that NO ONE else is using .. (its nice to have something that no one else have or is using).. but i would also like to run "Windows 7".. and while i do have both installed.. i cant realy use both on the same time..

The not so nerdy part...
My dear wife is running her "dr. love series" these days.. sufice to say that i dont realy understand everything that it says.. i'm still left with a feeling that she is strange.. but funny..

As for our kid, well.. this have been one hell of a big day, he had hes first "playmate" home from scholl.. and while i was walking him there this morning, he asked "can we put a computer in my room so it looks nice when elias comes".. so said.. so done.. i wrapped up my 8000 kr iMac in fabians room.. and boy he was proud.. LOL..

Well.. thats it for today, time to go play with the love of my life.
